ELT projects which promote empathy

In this Topic we explore six excellent ELT projects related to social justice whose founders and members have high degrees of empathy. Many of these projects have teaching materials with clear and realistic pedagogical and linguistic goals which can be used with our students to generate empathy toward groups of people who may be very different from them.
